My son's Metal name will be "EyeGouger".
I was standing in the kitchen holding my son when he started gesturing grandly. This is nothing new. What was new was when his finger went into my right eye with some force.
The pain was tremendous.
The doctor and opthomologist say that there's a good gouge/laceration, but it should heal with the help of antibiotics and time. I can see, but it all hurts and my mental state is obviously distracted. I can drive, but I'm obviously going to keep that to a minimum.
The irony is that one of my woodshop safety goggles was within reach at that exact moment.
Brutal.
