I'm not sure, but I think that it's the same model on which I'd learned to love wood turning. The more I work with it, the more familiar it feels.
I also wished that I'd paid more attention, or maybe took more pictures back then...
Anyway, the test turn went well and was a load of fun. I'm much happier that I got this lathe than a cheapie. It has the capacity and capabilities that should serve me well for quite some time.
