On Office Etiquitte, part 1

For those who don't know, when you work in an open-air office, the following things are inappropriate:
-Speakerphone, unless EVERYONE in the room is involved in the call
-Holding a conversation with someone more than about 5 feet away. Yes, you must keep your voice down.
-Shouting for someone's attention, asking them to come to you.
-Your phone ringers should not be so loud as to alarm people on the other side of the room.
-When using your phone's headset, it is not necessary to speak loudly enough so that everyone in the room can distinctly hear your side of the conversation. It doesn't matter if it's work-related. The mouthpiece is only inches away...

If you have an office and must take a call on speakerphone, close your door.

I'm sure that there will be more to come...
