If, say you're a Deskside Support Technician (Tier 2 support, it is sometimes called, but could have been addressed at the Call Center, Tier 1), and you receive a call from a user that they're getting a message saying "Access Denied" when trying to access a folder, what do you do?
I know, maybe cry to Tier 3 because it's a Windows Server 2008 machine, and it's apparently too damn much to think for yourself, and maybe, JUST FREAKING MAYBE, guess that Permissions are managed in the exact same way that they have been since Windows-Freaking-NT 4.0 debuted in 1996. FOURTEEN YEARS AGO!
"Nope, sorry. Not my job to think..."
