It's been announced that HP is going to acquire the struggling Palm. This makes me happy. I think that the WebOS is a fine product (even as I am ambivalent towards the Pre and Pixi). It's very hackable, and if it weren't for the iPhone, I would probably have a Pre.
I think that HP can offer a lot to the new 'Palm Division'. I hope that with the resources that Big Daddy had to offer, they can make a competitive phone. Hopefully one that won't need to be replaced every couple months due to day-to-day wear...
