NY politicians have given up on trying to bullshit us. They're not even trying to provide a real justification for the new taxes anymore.

That's what they're called. Can't balance a budget, so raise taxes.
I am not qualified to comment as an economist, and am not familiar enough with the state's budget to provide suggestions*; I'm just amazed that they've stopped even trying...
